When the world ends.... @ 07:20 am

Current Mood: amused
Current Music: When The World Ends - DMB

Oh, when the world ends
We'll be burning one
When the world ends
We'll be sweet makin love
Oh, you know when the world ends
I'm going to take you aside and say
Let's watch it fade away, fade away
And the world's done
Ours just begun
It's done
Ours just begun

We're gonna dive into the emptiness
We'll be swimming
I'm going to walk you through the pathless roads
I'm going to take you to the top of the mountain that's no longer there
I'm going to take you to bed and love you, I swear
Like the end is here
I'm going to take you up to I'm going to take you down on you
I'm going to hold you like an angel, angel
I'm going to love you I'm going to love you
When the world ends I'm going to hold you
When the world is over
We'll just be beginn--

Observations @ 08:56 am

Current Mood: refreshed

You can learn a lot about your neighbors by the liquor bottles in their recycling bins. The Republicans next door drink a LOT of wine and Kahluah. *peers curiously at the Repubs on her flist* The couple around the corner, with the yappy dog that broke a hole in the fence to our yard and "fixed" it by sticking a slat of wood there without nailing it - lots of Malibu rum. Hm....

Via my friend Vicki: Children, I thought they would need therapy because of us, I think it might be the other way around.

This morning is GORGEOUS. It's only 47 outside, and I can see my breath. Just took a wonderful walk. So fresh and clean and cool with blue sky...fall is teasing its way in via the dark of night. I'm ready for apples and squash and leaves and fires, although I hate to leave the sunny warmth of summer behind.

My walk was invigorating. Now to get ready for my PT session in 90 minutes.

Wednesdays are "academic seminar" days at the schools, where the teachers are given instruction in teaching methods, etc. for 90 minutes. This means they need time in the day to do it, so my elementary kids will be home half an hour earlier than usual, and that Katie left for school half an hour later. She keeps insisting on going out for the bus twenty minutes before it comes. I think she just wants to be first. I've arranged my walks so that I'm going past her school bus stop right before I arrive back home, and she's consistently too early. Silly girl. Although we told her she obviously couldn't be left alone and would have to be watched, I still have left her while I take my walks. The weather isn't going to hold and she has to get ready for school. Hopefully we're getting the message through to her, though.

Today! Keep working on the site files. I got the SH stories themselves recoded, and my vidding notes. Need to tackle TPM next. Laundry (I never did fold!) Work both jobs - it's *my* day and night at both places. "Stand for Children" meeting tonight, too. Trying to get Roy to come with. A state rep will be there, too.

What's for dinner? We're having spaghetti.

yeah...COCK SHOT @ 01:15 pm
