Overwhelmed with the Ordinary

Things amuse me - marry a horse! @ 12:17 pm

Am editing a question posted to a site.

Is she married to a horse?

"...keep my marriage in tack?"

I fixed it, but I laughed heartily. It's mean of me, I know, because her question was very emotional and serious, but the image that phrase produced...

Doing my mother's 60th birthday party today, nearly a full month after the actual date. Hey, I was at SHarecon. I have my priorities. (umm...my sister had other commitments, too, and the grandkids all had a big ol' fun bash for her, lol. And I remembered to email the DJ for the morning birthday list from Maryland!) At any rate, of course, today is when fall decided to make an appearance. It's all of 60 degrees and very, very overcast - there's a chance of rain, even. Good thing I reserved a covered picnic area at the park.

Not expecting too many folks - 25 maybe? So it'll be nice and intimate, and there's the playground there for the park. It borders the school boundary, so it's very nearby.

Plus, another sign that fall has fallen? I acquired a chai latte today, and it's PERFECT. Now to find out of The Human Bean makes them so I don't have to go to Starbucks for it...

Remember last year, @ 07:02 pm

Current Mood: tired

when I saw "Jesus Christ, Superstar", with Ted Neeley?

Apparently, he's not yet done with the "Farewell Tour" because I heard a radio ad for tickets, this year, again, starring HIM!

How long do farewell tours last, anyway?

Party was small but fun. Good times. Tomorrow morning, must have Katie up and ready by 7am so Mom can take her to the Race. I have claimed tomorrow for myself - vidding time.
