is a quarter inch thick. It's really pretty! The kids went outside before I could warn them, and are breaking it up in the backyard. I've told them to be careful cuz ice hurts if they fall. Cross your fingers...

that cold viruses would DIE in the subfreezing temps, but nooooo....they take up residence in my head!

i still feel pretty good, though. Scratchy throat, stuffed up AND runny nose, little cough. Urgh. But still working away at the house scrubdown...

I'm making dinner a little early. I already have the electric blanket on. I intend to eat and then go to bed and nurse my cold. I've got fic on Glinda and I'll be happy. :)
