It snowed overnight. This time it was much more like the snow we USUALLY see, barely a quarter inch. Just a dusting.

Flooding is what we're watching now - some areas closer to the rivers are flooding. A house in the "RICH" area of Lake Oswego had a mudslide greet them overnight, resulting in serious injuries.

We're fine where we are - the closest tributary we have is Turner Creek and it's blocks away and has a decent floodplain. But the 24 hour rain count was nearly three inches in Portland. InSANE. All the snowmelt and rain is overflowing the creeks and bringing the rivers up.

Need to hit Costco today, the grocery store, and the post office. I guess I should get moving...

Today has just been one of those piss-ant days. Even being away from the house for a couple of hours didn't make much better.

Still, I could be dead. I'm not. As evidenced by my typing here.

Unsatisfying day, I guess would be the word.
And 16yo Jett Travolta died. Wow. This has been a rough week.

I've an urge to write a fic where Hutch writes and sings "Seem to Miss So Much" (rather than David Soul, lol) and it means something to Starsky. I can picture it, but words, they're lacking.
