Pulling out the carpet from the girls' room. Over twelve years old and stained and just overused at this point. Hardwoods beneath that really need some TLC but they ain't getting it for a while. Walls need painting too. All figured for summertime.

Taking the bunk beds apart and giving each girl half the room. For Katie's birthday coming up, I think we'll give her a Gift Certificate on us to choose new bedding, all her own. Doesn't have to match her sister's. Can be what she wants. Sheets, comforter, etc. Make it her space.
