I woke up this morning from a dream that....I was remembering better earlier than I am now.

The scene that really stands out for me is that there was a LOT of snow on the Coast Range, and we could see it - I mean a LOT of snow. Like, break under the weight of the snow, snow.

Yet, we were at what was supposed to be our fairgrounds, and it was more summertime weather down here. Mind, I'm only a few miles from the foothills of the coast range, and then there's the coast range. I can see it from my house. But it was summer down here.

loyseofverlaine was with us. And the fairgrounds were supposed to be Disneyworld. And verlaine was wearing low/no show socks and thick slide slippers. We had to hold her hands so she wouldn't fall. My kids were being very helpful. ;-)

I didn't take a shower until nearly 2pm today. Between weird conversations on the starsky_hutch comm, a coworker who thinks her time zone is perfectly fine to annoy me in my time zone (no, I don't work at 7:30am...) and meetings that went longer than expected and training that got sprung on me because I forgot about it, and trying to sort out an admin bug at work, my day was taken over.

I really need a day off, lol.

And how was your Thursday? I'm now off to the grocery store because there are people in my house who keep eating all the food...
