Drove hubby to the train station so that I could also get a coffee. :D He opted to not work yesterday and instead Karl mowed the lawn and Roy pruned the rhododendrons and the hydrangea bushes back down from monster levels to just bush levels. I can see out my kitchen window again without having to bob-and-weave to look through the branches. And we can now access the back yard faucet a whole lot easier. :) He's only going to work a few hours and this should be the last week of late nights and weekends. We're going to go downtown and pick him up, have lunch, and hit Fry's for some Lightscribe discs on sale, and I need more cases.

Worked more on the MR vid last night in between chatting and it's getting closer to done. Next up is Ea's for her work on my site. It's a moody, angsty one and I'm rather in the mood for that, so it should be a good ride. I needed to do this MR one to "cleanse the palate", as it were. But in watching enednoviel's progress on her latest AU WIP drawing (OMG...fainting...) makes me itch for the boys back.

I'll go first.

I like my eyes. I think they're pretty. I like their color and they have just this hint of almond upturn. And when I put mascara on my blond lashes, their shape really stands out.

I love my eyes.

1) Katie has dark brown hair but there are lots of mahogany highlights in it. What can we do to bring those more forward? She'd like to be more red than brown.

2) Is there such a thing as auburn-colored mascara?

Oscar red carpet on behind me. This year I did NOT vid to an Oscar-nominated (and won!) song like I did last year (Falling Slowly), but I did see Milk and am looking forward to seeing how it fares.

...I *loved* the story. I ended it with a smile and a laugh and I loved how adorable she made Josh - obviously a baby!David Soul fan.

And now. Back to Vietnam and WW2 and Pet Shop Boys and Moulin Rouge! and dammit, gladiators...and The Great Gatsby! Appt in morning, so to bed early.
