It was a bit of an emotional day yesterday - some sobbing emails back and forth with a friend while we leaned on each other, dealing with still the deaths of people whom I didn't know personally but who still meant a lot to me and mine, not feeling well *at all* (I think I had a fever last night, even, but the thermometer is dead), unable to pull a single creative note out of my head...and trying to do weekend work I'd committed to as well.

Today I feel MUCH better. My shoulder is bothering me, but I'm facing the work with a much brighter outlook, and am hoping the writing I want to do will percolate in my head as I do so.
