RACE FOR A REASON

Portland Race for the Cure,
I race for a cure,
I walk, but keep going,
I can't run, but I walk,
Get there when you can
Just keep going
For a cure.

We need a cure
A cure we need
For cancer we feed
From our bodies
Cancer takes
Cancer takes.

A cure for breast cancer
A step towards no cancer
A need we must help
Like a cut
Many stages
Of a cut
Many stages
For a cure

No more cancer
No more cancer
Fight we must
To win from the heart
Fight we do
For a cure.

To breast cancer
To all cancer
To be finished
We must forever try
To stop cancer
To end cancer
For women
For men
For children
For you
For me
For one and all

Race, Race for the cure
A cure to cancer
A cure to need
A cure to feed
A cure to seed
Into hearts
Of all of the country
The world
The lives of all that live
The cancer in a demanding need
The cure we must feed.
