I've seen both first episodes from both versions, and...





I like them both. Really. Beyond that the scripts were 85% identical, the production was simply different. UK was done in UK style; US was done in US style.

Roy started watching the US one while I was in here working dvd stuff on the computer, and I came out to find him nearly done with it, and he looked at me in surprise and said, "I like this!" He didn't like the UK one as much, which we watched immediately after. Felt the US one was more detailed and with better production values.

I, of course, love british accents, so was happy with them both.
