Here's your chance to ask me anything: If there's ever been something about my life you're curious about, feel free to ask it here. Whether it's with your username or anonymously, ask me and I have to answer.

Is there any part of your life that you deeply regret, and why? And, if you could, what aspect of your life do you feel like that change would bring?

What's your most and least favourite parts about yourself, mentally and physically?

I really hate to be one of those...arrogant (for lack of better word) kinds of people who says that they don't regret and acts like they're "above" regretting, but I think Katie Holmes just said it best with "Personally, I don't think it's too healthy to live in regret. I'm a very laid-back person and I try to be positive about any situation." The closest I come to having a regret is the fact that I didn't try harder in high school with my classes, but if I had, I would have gotten accepted to my "dream" college and I KNOW I would be very unhappy there right now, for many reasons, Niagara really is a great home to me and fits me, but I wouldn't have even thought twice about it if I actually got into Union College. I was hardly rejected and if I put more effort in, I would have been accepted most likely, it did come as a shock that I was rejected in the first place, and it just really isn't for me there.

My favorite things about myself mentally are the fact that I'm so fiercely loyal and passionate about things. Physically, I'd most likely say...either my hair or smile, I'm always smiling and I do like that. Least favorite mentally would be that I don't have a great attention span, but not really in an ADD way, I just can't sit and do homework for a while. Physically, I'd say how tired I get, so easily, is a big annoyance of mine. I pretty much need 12 hours of sleep a night just so I can concentrate throughout the day and I've tried so many things and I can't get past it.

I start college in the fall, and I want to be a lawyer, too. Many people react negatively upon hearing that and they ask me how I will live with myself if I am to defend someone who is undoubtedly guilty, or some variation of that. I know the answer but I am not sure how to put it into words. Did you get those comments/questions, as well? If so, how did you respond?

Unfortunately, I can't give you a first hand response to that because I want to be a prosecutor so I'm on the other side of that, but I work in the DA's office now and I've met many defense attorneys and one thing I've witnessed for myself is that they've all been good people, they're not pricks or cocky or anything of the sort that the media would leave you to believe. In fact, many of the defense attorneys started out in the DA's office as prosecutors, and while every one I've talked to said they prefer being in the district attorney's office compared to being a defense attorney, they also say they realize that someone has to be on the other side of things and give these people a chance because everyone has their own story, everyone sees things a little differently. They take an oath to zealously represent their clients and they honor that because they realize that someone's future is actually in their hands and there are a group of them who do care and who just screwed up and so they're on that side (defense) for them, the ones who really need it.
