Sunday Elizabeth Reed

NAME: Sunday "Sunny" Elizabeth Reed.
AGE/BIRTHDAY: 14; February 26, 1997
GRADE: 9th Grade (Freshman)
CLASS: Upper Middle Class.

FAMILY: Typical nuclear household with two parents and a little sister. There's a baby on the way, too, which she thinks is kind of gross, but kind of cool. She's relatively close to her parents, but not overly so and is much more comfortable going to a friend for advice than talking to them about stuff. Especially boy stuff.
SEXUALITY: Too inexperienced to know. She is literally untouched, aside from a few playground style kisses that don't even count in her mind. She's never really been kissed, let alone anything else.
ACTIVITIES: None, yet! I think Libby might talk her into cheerleading, though. Lol.

APPEARANCE: Petite, blonde-haired with blue eyes. She's adorable and has this look of wide-eyed innocence to her that isn't too far from the truth. As for her style, she favors comfort over style. She rarely wears any makeup or anything like that. This is also something I am sure Libby will change
PLAYED BY: Dakota Fanning

LIKES: Books, animals, camping/hiking, chocolate.

DISLIKES: Peanut butter, loud noises, country music.

STRENGTHS: Loving, optimistic, book-smarts.

WEAKNESSES: Naive, awkward, not very confident.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Sunny is a sweet, friendly girl, but she isn't necessarily what you would call outgoing. She's friendly to those who approach her and she's full of laughs and smiles amongst friends and family, but she can seem quiet and a little shy around people she doesn't know. She's also not one to just walk up to random strangers and say hello.

She's a reasonably intelligent girl. She likes to read and she's always had really good grades. Sunny is a daughter her parents can be proud of. She's the quintessential good girl. She's always done exactly what her parents have asked of her, always been happy to help around the house. She does her chores, she does her homework. She's never had a detention a day in her life. Some would find her boring, but she likes being a good girl.

Sunny isn't as boring as she seems on paper. She likes to dance. She loves horseback riding and camping and other outdoorsy things. She had her share of friends back home and she enjoyed hanging out with them in her free time. She happens to think you can have fun while still being a good girl.

HISTORY: Sunny was the first of two three children, born is a tiny, tiny town in Texas that no one's ever heard of. Her younger sister came a year later and everyone thought the Reeds were done until just 6 months ago Sunny's parents announced they were having another baby. This one's a boy, if the tests can be believed and Sunny isn't exactly excited by the prospect. Having a little brother 14 years younger than you is just weird.

Childhood was relatively uneventful for Sunny. She got the usual childhood injuries, a broken bone here or there. She took dance lessons. She learned to fish and cook and all the other things little girls learned to do where she grew up. Sunny always loved spending time with her mom and she loved going fishing with her dad. She didn't even mind sharing them with her little sister most of the time.

Sunny is really close to her sister. They're almost more like twins, even though Sarah is a year younger than she is. She's not looking forward to starting her first year of high school without her, that's for sure, especially when they're both in a brand new place, in a much bigger city than either of them has ever seen before.

Business brought the Reeds to Chicago right at the end of the school year. Her father went ahead in April and there were a couple of months where she only saw him on the weekends. She's glad they didn't make her move in the middle of the year, though. Having to move away from her hometown was bad enough, especially when the cute boy she'd had a crush on since the fifth grade finally asked her out during the last week of school. She hated having to tell him no.

Chicago isn't so bad, though. There are things to do and she has the whole summer to get used to the city before starting at her new school. She definitely misses her hometown, but she's trying her best to adjust.
