So, the sinus headaches I've been self-medicating and trying to ignore turned into a awesometastic sinus infection. Apparently it's pretty bad, but I now have medicines and will hopefully be much better soon.
The drainage in my sinuses is being pushed toward my ears because the swelling is bad enough that it doesn't really have anyplace else to go. At one point yesterday, I couldn't even hear out of my right ear. Then it was hello to the dizzy.
I thought there was something wrong with my
ear, so I left work early to go an urgent care clinic. I was a little surprised by the sinus infection diagnosis, but I really shouldn't have been. Pollen counts have been high, I've had recurring headaches and I've been freaking exhausted lately.
I must be a glutton for punishment, because I came to work today. Hopefully, I'll be on the mend soon. Right now I'm feeling okay except that the Sudafed/Zyrtec combo is killing my concentration.
If only I could go home and sleep for a week.
