This one has been going around IJ, but I thought I'd crosspost everywhere. :)
1) What songs are you currently addicted to? Jeff Buckley's rendition of
Hallelujah always tops this list. I also have been listening to a lot of Kate Voegele and Taylor Swift. Fall Out Boy, The Spill Canvas, etc are also heavily featured in my music library at the moment, though I've been having a real yen for country lately. Oh and the Counting Crows are probably one of my favorite bands ever, particularly
Raining In Baltimore and
Omaha, and I really want to download more Billy Joel than I currently have because he is amazing.
2) What books are you currently reading? Not nearly as mean as I'd like to be reading. I keep trying to find time to dive into
Pride and Prejudice, I'm currently reading Jim Beaver's
Life's That Way via my Kindle app, which is freaking
amazing. Heartbreaking, but amazing. Do service manuals count? Because I've spent the last several days reading service manuals and service training in preparation for my recerts at work. I'm also anxiously awaiting the next
House of Night book, which I will probably devour once I have it in my hands. I have also been re-reading my way through
The Call of the Wild.
3) What was the last movie you saw? The last movie I saw in a theater was
Avatar in 3D, which was awesome. Outside of the theaters, I watched
Forgetting Sarah Marshall off the BFF's recommendation and it was awesome.
4) ZOMBIES OR ROBOTS: VIKINGS! They'll totally kick both their asses. :P
5) Cats or dogs? I'm definitely a cat person. I don't hate dogs, but I have a very definitely preference for cats, my darling Narcissa in particular. I'm a little biased.
6) What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction? Obsession would be putting it a bit strongly, but my favorite new show is
Life Unexpected. I don't really get involved in
fandom craziness, though. I don't even follow very many celebs on Twitter. Jim Beaver and Alyson <s>Hannigan</s> Denisof aside, of course. I couldn't <i>not</i> follow Aly, though - I've adored her for far too long.
7) Do you love to use ALL-CAPS? Not really. Sometimes when I'm in a flaily mood.
8) What side of the bed do you sleep on? Ummm, the side nearest a table/alarm, which is different in my own bed than when I am visiting the BFF, so I think that means I don't have a real preference.
9) What kind of weather do you like best? Sunny, around mid 70s. Not too hot, but not tool cool and a nice breeze helps, too. I love the sun, though.
10) What was the last thing you bought? Antibiotics? Ibuproferen. Technically, lunch at the mall at work today. Even my financial life is boring. :P
Also it was really inferior Japanese and I can't wait to have some Fuji's tomorrow. 11) Would you rather date a good singer, or a good cook? A good cook, because I am a failure in the kitchen. Case in point? I managed the other day to burn myself while cooking pasta. The noodles were stick and I was stirring and trying to
unstick them and some of the boiling water splashed onto my stomach. I have an awesome red spot of burned skin now. I love to eat, but I'm definitely not great at cooking the things I love.
12) If you could speak any language (including that of animals, plants, rainbows, whatever floats your boat), what would it be? German or maybe Gaelic, because I have some German and Irish ancestry back in my lineage and I think it would be cool. Also, Kilngon, because that would be nerdtastic.
13) What do you do to change your mood? Listen to music. Usually something upbeat if I'm feeling down or something mellow if I need to calm down. Also loving on the kitteh and talking to the BFF is generally awesome for my moods.
14) What was the last meal you ate? Three taco supremes from taco bell. Mmmmm, good.
15) Do you want to learn another language? I do, but as I failed Spanish twice in college, I don't think me learning other languages is really meant to be,

was looking forward to this visit with Crystal, but now I am HERE. I'm also really looking forward to the HP theme park opening.
19) What is playing out of your speakers, right now? Not a darn thing. It's bedtime. :P
