Name: Leonardo "Leo" Sebastian Russo
Age: 28
Birthdate: 1983
Location: New York City

Occupation: Bartender (works part-time at the DePaolo restaurant and part-time at Montagues); he's also taking business classes part-time at a local college.
Class: Middle Class. He's certainly not wealthy, but he has enough to get by.

Reincarnation: Pinocchio
Link to source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinocchio
Abilities: He is physically unable to tell a lie.

Personal History:
Leo was born the only child to a working-class couple in a small village near Sicily. It was unusual to have such a small family in the area where he grew up, but there were complications during Leo's birth and his mother was unable to have any more children.

Despite being an only child, Leo never had a shortage of playmates in the village. The families in the surrounding houses were relatively large and he found himself with a number of surrogate siblings to compensate for those he, himself, would never have. It was far from a lonely life.

Life in the village wasn't always easy. Leo's family was far from wealthy and he had a great number of chores to do as he grew older. On top of that, he did any odd jobs he could to make a little extra money for his family. Still, they had it a little easier than many other families with only the three of them to take care of and Leo's childhood was a happy one. He had to work hard for the things he had, but he doesn't consider that to be a bad thing. His work-ethic is one of his best traits, if you ask him.

When Leo was 13, his family had the opportunity to move to the United States. He was opposed to the move at first, not wanting to leave behind his family and friends in Italy, but it didn't take him very long to adjust to life in New York City. He had always been a hard worker and a quick study, and he applied himself vigorously to the task of learning his new country's native tongue. He also spent a great deal of time exploring the city.

Living in America was very different. It was even more difficult to make ends meet in the big city, even with his parents both working good jobs. Real estate in New York was very expensive and Leo found himself having to work odd jobs to help out, much like he did in his native country. As soon as he was old enough, he found a job working in the restaurant of a family friend. His parents had always been close to the DePaolo's, who had always treated Leo like a part of the family, so it wasn't hard for him to get a job waiting and busing tables in the family restaurant.

He worked there part-time all through high school and continued his work there once he'd graduated and started to take college classes. He was more than ready to get out on his own, though, so he picked up a second job at one of the "nicer" restaurants in town. He didn't really care for working there, but he kept it up as long as he could, because he needed the money. Fortunately, a couple of years ago, a friend of a friend was opening a new restaurant that sounded promising. Leo managed to get a part-time job at Montagues where he is still employed.

Between his shifts at the DePaolo restaurant and Montagues, Leo is still taking college courses. It's been slow going, but he's very close to finishing his BA in Business. As much as he hates to leave either of his current employers, he's hoping to be able to find a better job once he's graduated. Ideally, he'd like to open a business of his own once he's managed to save up enough money to do so.

Personality: Hardworking. Friendly. Cheerful. Loyal. Ambitious. Easygoing. Reliable.
Leo may look imposing, but he's actually more like a large teddy bear, as his friends and family will readily tell you. He's much more likely to scoop you up into a bear hug than to actually hit you. As a matter of fact, he's not fond of violence in general. He'll defend himself if the need arises and he's certainly capable of holding his own in a brawl, but he'd prefer to avoid the need.

It's not surprising with the way he was raised that Leo has a good work ethic. He's ambitious and hard-working. He knows what he wants in life and he's not afraid to go after it. He might be working two part-time jobs right now, but he's also going to school part-time. He's working on getting a degree in business and he's been saving his money so that one day he can open a bar or restaurant of his own.

Leo is a great guy to have as your friend. He's a good listener and he's definitely dependable. He's the kind of guy who will come running to give you a ride home at 3am (not that he actually has a car of his own, but he'll definitely show up and make sure you get home safe, even if it means paying double cab or bus fare to do so). He's always happy to listen and give advice when his friends need it.

Physical Description: Leo is a large man. He stands at an impressive 6'5 and has a very muscular build. He keeps himself in shape with regular workouts and the occasion leisure game of basketball or football in one of the local parts.

Leo is definitely a casual sort of guy, especially when it comes to the way he dresses. He favors jeans and t-shirts when he's not in his work uniforms. His clothes are generally well-worn, too. He doesn't believe in spending a lot of money on clothing and he only buys himself new things when he absolutely needs them.

Preferred Body Model: Joe Manganiello
