Name: Lily Luna Potter, at your service! Well, not at your service. Probably not, at least! Age/Year: Fifteen/Fifth House: Gryffindor, of course! Personality: "Does this girl ever shut up?" is basically what everyone says (or at least, thinks) when they meet Lily Luna Potter. She's the most talkative of the Potter clan and she's certainly the only one who loves everyone, no matter what! Okay, okay, so if someone doesn't like her, and they make it known that they don't like her and they do something to provoke her, then, naturally, Lily won't like that person. But other people! Yes! She loves people! Family, friends, strangers, pets, children, adults, seniors, everyone. No joke.
There are two parts to Lily Luna's personality. The fun, happy, naive part and the too naive, judgemental, and, frankly, annoying part. Lily's one of those happy go-lucky, let's-focus-on-the-positive-please-and-thank-you! kind of people. If there's one thing that she hates, it has to be sadness. She's seen it too many times in her family that she is just completely turned off in any way by it. As a normal teenager, it so happens that she has normal interests, of course, and what fifth year would just like to sit around and moan and gripe about stuff? No! She wants to be happy, make people happy, and have fun! Along with his constant happiness comes her sense of naivete. It's not that she doesn't know stuff, it's... that she doesn't know meanings behind some sayings, the meanings of innuendos, etcetera. When this happens, there comes the Lily Luna Potter confusion face (TM).
It's true that she loves people, yes, but it doesn't stop her from making judgements. She's quick to action and, especially, when meeting new people, she does the old "don't judge a book by its cover" thing. First impressions are very important to her, and when she makes new friends, she takes them into account (she has this all sorted out in her mind). Her biggest personality "quirk" is also her fault - her happiness. Yes, yes, who doesn't like a happy, peppy fifth year girl? Surprisingly, not everyone. She's forward with her feelings and her loudness is a bit daunting -- sometimes to the point of annoyance. If someone tells her off for "being annoying", she'll huff and walk away (it totally doesn't bother her, okay?). In the end, Lily Potter is a bowl of contradictions in a fifth year body.
Major Details: Born on July 5th, 2008 to Harry Potter (yes, the Harry Potter) and Ginny Weasley-Potter, Lily Luna (named after Lily Evans-Potter and Luna Lovegood) was the youngest child and the only daughter. She grew up in the household of the Potters, being doted on by her extensive family ("Look at how pretty Lily is!") including her mother's side of the family, the Weasleys, and, of course, her two siblings, James Sirius and Albus Severus (poor Al got the short end of the name stick). As a child, she was, of course, loved and somewhat spoiled. The Potters were very protective of their only daughter and youngest child, and they sometimes required one of them (Harry, Ginny, James, Albus, or one of the Weasleys) with her when she went somewhere. This led her to live a fairly protected (one would say "sheltered") life. Of course, this got very frustrating when she entered Hogwarts and wanted her independence. She and her parents got into fights about this frequently, and finally, in her third year, they agreed that Lily was growing up, and needed her space. There was always a reason why she loved them so much. As a Weasley and a Potter, there was no doubt where Lily Potter would end up. It was already proven when, during childhood, she used to speak her mind freely about anything, and without a doubt, her quick to actionness. It's hard to know who she fancies because of her self-proclaimed love for everyone. Oh, Lily. PB: Elizabeth "Z" Berg Icons: all by ~fightclub@ij, banners are also by ~fightclub@ij |
