Since I'm much too lazy to go back and recap 2006, I'll just post my resolutions.

This year, I hereby resolve to...

1) Add some form of weight-training to my weekly routine. Between running and using the stairs as much as possible at work I get a good amount of exercise, but I still don't have that much muscle definition. Work at it.

2) Eat out less. A LOT less. No matter how glad I am to be in a place with decent food other than barbecue or Tex-Mex.

3) Actually try to make an anime con this year. (Preferably ACEN, though that one may be a long shot. DragonCon may be more realistic.)

4) No matter how OMG!shiny AeroGlass and DirectX 10 look, resist the urge to upgrade to Windows Vista until (A) I'm certain ALL the serious bugs are fixed, and (B) BeyondTV gets a Vista-compatible patch.

4.5) Also explore Linux as an alternative. If nothing else, you can't argue with the price.

5) Volunteer work. I'm (hopefully) done with school, so I've no excuse.

6) Mass. Yes, it's a PITA that none of the parishes nearby have reopened yet. Go anyway.

7) Post more, both in quantity and quality. (Including, hopefully, at least one voice post a month.)

8) Get serious regarding The Psilent War (working title). (Details to follow.)

9) Survive and repeat in '08.

Will get to work breaking these first thing tomorrow.

In an unrelated matter, I just realized that I had the journal set to screen non-Friends. (Obviously I'd set it that way at some point; damned if I can remember when though.) Anyway, 'tis fixed. Only anon posts are still screened, only because I've gotten spam on past entries.

Anyway, welcome 2007. Try to suck less than '05 and '06, mmmkay?
