To a select group of fundies:

As I recall, when we were fleeing Hurricane Katrina, many of you took the opportunity, while so many of us were in pain from the loss of homes, livelihoods and loved ones, to claim that our suffering was "divine retribution" for our "sins." Never mind that the FQ--the biggest "Den of sin" as you often put it--went all but untouched and that some of the areas hardest-hit were among the most conservative and devout in the area.

So...now that an an area that is home to many of your congregations is getting pasted, does that give us the right--never mind that a majority of the people there don't share your views, whatever the lot of you might believe--to call it divine retribution for your hypocricy and hate-mongering?

Just curious,

(No, I don't actually believe that this is anything beyond the usual "Shit Happens" that everyone has to face from time to time. It's just funny how they forget that...so long as the shit's falling on someone else, anyway.)
