I've registered new journals at GreatestJournal and LostJournal as a precaution. I'm waiting for some sort of statement from LJ before taking any further action.

I'm leaning towards LostJournal because 1) It offers more features, even to free journals, and 2) If I can go there, I can still read and post to people who haven't left LJ using OpenID. Will update if/when I make a final call one way or the other.
