29 MAY
It is perhaps a bit too soon to start thanking everyone for their hard work on the play but, since the curse has really begun to take its toll and the play premiers in a few weeks anyway, now is as good a time as any. This is the first time I have ever had a chance to have a say in how The Bard's play is performed and, despite all of the ups, the downs and the curses, I have to say that it has been a wonderful experience. I have really enjoyed myself and I will be sorry to see it end. Curse aside, obviously. So thank you to everyone involved and please try to keep as level as head as possible over the next couple of weeks. It will all be worth it in the end.

To-do list for my own reference. Feel free to ignore. )

Undoubtedly this is likely not the time for such matters but Mandy and I have discussed this and we feel that we are going to continue on with the play. We are on a schedule and more importantly I have a feeling it can provide ample distraction for those in need of one. If you did not sign up for crew the first time around and you feel you need something to take your mind off of things please feel free to reply to this post, email either Mandy (mbroc91@hogwarts.edu) or I (tboot91@hogwarts.edu), or even approach us in the hallways. Alternately, those of you who no longer feel you can participate due to the content of the play can also feel free to contact us privately to do so. There will certainly be no judgement on our parts because we certainly understand why and our sympathies go out to those of you who have been wounded by what has happened.
