School just finished for the day and Dante was on his way home. Normally he would have rehearsal for the school musical, but today he had practice with his band. He was active in a lot of things and sometimes there were scheduling conflicts. On those days he had to pick the one that was important at the time. Today it was band practice.

He grabbed his backpack out of his locker and slammed the door shut.

"I knew it! Man, you and Ben both, good at talking to girls and they all like you. Is that one of those skills of yours you're good at picking up or just the way it is?" Power references like that didn't count as problematic for secrets because it really just sounded like Dante was just a fast learner. Which wasn't necessarily false either.

"Yeah actually! I'll tell her, she says I should've asked earlier but we've both been busy."

"Really? Nice! And it's not cheating if you and Ben help me. Between the two of you I might get the hang of it an-what? Oh no no, I'm atrocious at musical-related things. I mean...I'll do like...lighting or something but they might not let me considering how much I trip up around here, they think I'm clumsy. Is there like a...curtain working job? You know, curtains up, curtains down. I could do that."

"Okay cool but I think I'd crash and burn on wardrobe," he admitted, looking up at his friend. "Scenery is painting and moving stuff right? I guess I could pull off that or lighting, I'm good at the moving things bit..." Which was sort of useless most of the time since he had to pretend he wasn't. What good was it being stronger than most people, even Dante, when you couldn't use it in public? Hiding powers sucked. "Wait...why am I letting you convince me into this sort of thing again?"

	"So that explains why I'm going along with these suggestions," he laughs and smacks his fist into the palm of his other hand. "No other explanation!" "But I think if I do this I'm going to need you to remind me of that reason...multiple times throughout. Like...would a stickey note be too obvious? Maybe you know...hmm." "Okay, good to know. And I've got your back for...well other things. Or if you need a wingman to look good next to, I'm pretty decent at that," he grinned. "I dunno if you can even find me a girl, though a double date sounds fun, but most don't look twice at me. Ben argues that Parker luck means I'll have rotten luck with girls for a while then find a really great one like Dad did. I don't think it works that way but I like the theory."

	Ben laughed and grinned back at Dante. "Oh hey you have no idea, I can be an awesome wingman and you won't need to worry about me stealing the girl's attention. Legit! Though if you find a girl who'd give me a shot that'd be like a crowning achievement for you. Seriously, award worthy man, you can put it on your shelf with the rest of the stuff."
