It's not a waste of time at all, I got to hang out with a cute guy for a few hours and pretend that I could actually get I understand not wanting to date though. I really do, so if you want to hang out or whatever, spend time away from your brothers - god knows I know how annoying that can get - I wouldn't be against it. It was just a date, not like you're breaking up with me or anything.
If you want, we can just do friends things. Like quidditch, do you like it? I've got four free passes to a playoff game next week, you can bring a friend or brother or something.
