I've just received the owl from the British & Irish League detailing the fines for a new referee's broom.

Oh, and also, I'm benched next match. Obviously.

If management has their way, I shall be riding that bench alongside you. Pah! I have face much worse than this.

Hearing the details of the healers having to pull the referee's broom out of his arse might help the healing process, however..

There was no jamming of brooms into ill-equipped professional's arses. Just merely the snapping of wood in half. A bit dramatic, but it felt good at the time...
