Dear Mr Weasley,

After reviewing your application and the transcript of your interview, the Obliviator Squad, Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, wishes to offer you employment as an Obliviator-trainee. Congratulations. This is an opportunity to establish a fulfilling Ministry career. As an Obliviator-trainee you will receive a wide range of office and field experience.

Obliviator-trainees are paid according to the Ministry entry-level pay scale, rate B-2, and receive benefits according to Ministry entry-level benefits scale, rate A-4, for a period of four months (3 April - 2 July). After which time, if the trainee has satisfactorily completed all aspects of the training exercises, then he may proceed to the probationary period. The probationary period lasts for two months (3 July - 2 September) and includes increased rate of pay and benefits. Probationary members of the Squad are treated similarly to other members; however, the probationary member may have occasional advanced training exercises. If the probationary member completes the two month period, then he may be promoted to active status in the Squad.

We hope that you will accept our offer. Please respond by return owl as soon as possible. If you accept, then we will expect to see you on 3 April in our headquarters on level 3 of the Ministry. Ask for me. Don't forget.

Yours,

Evelyn Clearwater
Obliviator Squad
