FULL NAME: Vincent Leonard Crabbe Jr
AGE/BIRTHDATE: 17/November 15, 1979
HOUSE AND YEAR: 7th/Slytherin
BLOODLINE: Pureblood
WAND: Yew, 12 1/2 inches, essence of phoenix feather. It is known to enhance magical and psychic abilities and is especially suited to spells of transfiguration. The user of this wand must be extremely careful of its innate destructive workings.
SEXUALITY: heterosexual, but probably leaning more toward asexual, no girl has wanted him.

USERNAME: mmmpie
PLAYED BY: Elden Henson (http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/kikithepirate/8673.html)

PERSONALITY: Vincent is not a very verbose person, to say the very least. And when he does talk, nothing very intelligent comes out of his mouth. Though, he likes to believe that his brute strength makes up for the fact that he isn't the smartest of the bunch. He doesn't understand that people make fun of him as much as they do, most of it goes right over his head to begin with. Even if he was aware that he was being made fun of, it wouldn't bother him that much, he would only have to take a couple of minutes out of his day to go punch those that were making fun of him to fix the problem. Hitting and hexing are his answers to everything that bothers him. Though, deep down Vincent does have a bit of a sweet side, he just doesn't know how to show it, but only certain people can bring it out of him, which is mostly the Slytherin girls who are nice to him. He doesn't have much of a problem to being used for his strength by his friends. In fact, he's the one to offer his services without having to be asked first. He also doesn't mind being one of Draco's cronies, he feels it gets him respect that he would not normally receive. He still very much so discriminates people based on bloodlines, he was brought up on thinking muggles and muggleborns are worthless, and will probably die with the same idea.
Vincent Crabbe only shows talent in two areas: quidditch and tormenting anyone who he feels deserves it. Though, when it comes to quidditch, he's not even all that talented, he's even hit himself in the head with his bat multiple times. Luckily for him though, he's mostly all skull and no brain, so it doesn't affect him all that much. And quidditch is the one thing that he can actually understand and follow, at least the most complicated thing he can understand. He doesn't follow any professional teams, but he does enjoy being able to send things flying painfully at people he doesn't like, especially since he can't get in trouble for it when out on the field. He's not the most gifted flyer, which hinders his improvement in the sport, as soon as he starts to get into the groove of hitting the bludgers, he usually loses his grip or he starts to slide off his broom, completely ruining the run he just had. He's also fairly talented at bullying people into doing things he wants them to do, though his fellow students that are seventh years as well, have pretty much given up on being scared by him, though there is a few that remain. His talents in that area are much better used toward the younger years.
Vincent's idea of doing his schoolwork consists of convincing smarter students (which even includes some first years) into doing it for him. And his form of convincing consists of a pounding of his fists and usually that does the trick. Though, in the beginning the professors weren't too fond of his way of working, but they've chosen to just overlook it, rather than inflict him on even more students to come by failing him. Because of this, he barely passes his classes and only managed to make it to the NEWTs level of only the easiest classes that are offered. His training at Hogwarts will most likely not be able to help him with anything in the future, he isn't destined for something great, and he is fully aware of this. Though he doesn't like to think of things like that, actually, he doesn't like to think very hard about any one topic, it only ends up with him getting a headache. He isn't very fond of thinking too far ahead into the future, he can't seem to see past his next meal anyways.

HISTORY: Most people will say that they're parents were a love match and that they're happy at even the worst times. That's not the case when it comes to the Crabbe's. The marriage of Vincent Crabbe Senior and Bertha Williams was the result of arranged marriages at its very worst. The two were placed together to keep both of their blood pure, the fact that they were third cousins didn't seem to bother their parents, or anyone who knew of it for that matter. While Vincent was for the marriage, Bertha was completely against it, but soon gave in because of the pressure from their family. It was expected of them to have a child from their union, and they did as they were told, and early in to the marriage Bertha gave birth to Vincent Jr. Though she was very determined to have him be their only child, even if at an early age she could tell Vincent Jr. was not learning new things at the pace of a normal child.
Vincent didn't have exactly what one would call a horrible childhood, he had everything he could ever ask for, but his parents were not the happy couples that most children had. They got along well enough, there was only the occasional fighting that seemed to come much more frequently the older he got. His mother could hardly look at him and his father was always off working, so his education was left up to house elves. Though they too stopped coming to see him, when one too many times he got too angry with them and often resorted to violence when he couldn't figure out the things they were teaching him.
Things didn't really change much even after he went off to Hogwarts, sure the house elves got a little bit of a break, but he just seemed to be worse when he came home for the holidays. He thought his father would be pleased in him that he had been sorted into Slytherin, following in his footsteps, but his father didn't really seem to care all that much. He wanted nothing more than to prove to his father that he could be more than his dumb son. But, there wasn't much that had impressed his father, he couldn't do anything right. And when his father was sent off to Azkaban near the end of his fifth year, it only made matters worse for Vincent. When he was home from school, he was most often only there with the house elves as his mother always had something else to do. His father has yet to be released from Azkaban, and his home life has gotten even harder on Vincent. He has never had the loving affection of his two parents, which seems to have only made things worse when it comes to his temper and violent acts over the years.
The only thing that he feels can redeem himself in his father's eyes at this point is to continue with the ideals that Voldemort had once believed in. He writes to his father very often, but has yet to ever see a reply from him, mostly because his father wouldn't bother looking at them because of the headache the bad spelling and grammar would most likely cause. He's only continuing with his education (if you can really call it that) so he can say that he's done it, and that his father won't have another reason to hate him. He doesn't foresee anything other than the usual happening in his final year, he'll follow Draco around and do as he is told, and will most likely find some little first or second year to give a good scare to on a daily basis.
