I never realized how one House Elf could create such a shortage of help overall; everything seems to be running the teeniest bit slower. I do understand that the House Elves are still all getting used to me, but at this point they should remember how I like my tea in the morning. A few days ago, my tea had cream and sugar in it, instead of the lemon I usually request. The House Elf who prepared and delivered my morning tea still can't hold anything because of his swollen hands.

I would wager that the lines in the Ministry are going to be atrocious, what with all the Mudggleborns making such a fuss over the new restrictions. I do hope no one's silly enough to avoid carrying around cards and getting the tattoos. Speaking of lines, Diagon Alley has become impossible. Though shopping trips take three times as long as they used to, I must admit the missing faces in the shops are a refreshing change.
