It was not often that Don Hall had a reason to visit people outside the city limits of Philadelphia, but this was a time that was not often. Lily Troy, the adopted daughter of Donna Troy, had returned from Themyscira. News of her return fell through the grapevine and eventually made its way to Don. He’d met Lily through his cousin, Jarrod Hall, and had become friends with her. It was only fair that he greeted her upon her return.
After talking with his mom and dad, Don was able to go visit Lily. He called ahead of time to let her know he wanted to see her. He insisted she didn’t take the trouble of driving over to him. Honestly? Don wanted to do some driving. He let everybody know that he had his Learner’s Permit and that he liked driving whenever he got the chance. That, of course, meant that his mom was coming along for the ride.
That didn’t mean, however, that his mom was going to be hanging off of his shoulders while he talked with Lily. So when he knocked on the door, Lily’s mom came to the door and escorted his mom into the kitchen for their own chat. Meanwhile, Don and Lily could have their own.
