The scent of rose oil carries on the night sky, above the less pleasant scents of Hell's Kitchen, and Daredevil wonders for a moment if he's hallucinating. Soon after, though, he hears a familiar heartbeat, followed by footfalls he would know anywhere.
He punches a thug in the face and smiles, surprised at this turn of events.
"Long time, no see." he says, not that he's ever actually seen her in his life, but the meaning is still there.
When the last of the thugs is dealt with, he looks to the little girl...who seems absolutely terrified of the man in crimson garb.
He often forgets the effect he has on children, the persona he portrays.
"Maybe she'll listen to you." Daredevil says to Elektra.
