So, Obama had to retake the Oath of Office because yesterday it was messed up on one word. Doesn't make sense to me, but I trust that there is some reason why word for word it must copy what was outlined in the Constitution.. perhaps if I was more wide awake I would have realized why more easily ...
But what I have a major issue with is the fact that he was allowed to do so without a Bible. The exact words must be repeated in the exact order as they were written down in the Constitution in order to be acceptable .. but he was allowed to swear an oath without anything to go by, any lien or honor attached ...
I fear for our nation more daily, and that is not a good feeling in the dawn of a new presidency. |

Gosh, I really fear for our country, too! Obama seems to be a very ungodly man, and I find what I know of his morals to be disgraceful. I know we must support him, but I'd give anything to be able to have a president once again who is a decent man! We must stick together, pray, and just know that it's all gonna be okay. | |
