It was just like his dad had told him. The mansion was large and comforting to look at. Something about the place felt right to Zak. He pressed the buzzer at the gate entrance to let the people in the mansion know that they had a visitor.

"Nice to meet you as well, Zachary."

She gave him a smile. "It's easy to get lost. I could give you a tour later, once you have a meeting with the Professor about joining the X-Men. All new hopefuls have to meet with him, and Uncle Scott-Cyclops."

She paused for a second. Guthrie. She knew that she knew that last name from somewhere... "You wouldn't happen to be related to Sam or Paige Guthrie, would you?"

"Oh, I have a few," he said as he bent down and touched his hand to the wooden floor. When he did, his body began to take on the property of the floor, making him a wooden man. He flexed rather jokingly in this new form.

"I got this, and I'm immune to poisons, toxins, radioactivity, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. And I can take a few hits in my Normal Mode, as I call it."

He smiled wide, making a show out of his Wood Mode.
