Ben gulps and runs at the vampire, leaping at it and tackling it to the ground, rolling as they do so. Half-way through the roll, he kicks out to send the vampire flying to where he and Storm had just been, and into the now blazing flames.
"RUN!" He dashed out the door of the room and back into the hallway after Storm, dodging the drops of flaming blood. The fire was spreading fast, and the old house groaned as its load-supporting structures began to burn. They could hear crumbling as parts of the house began to fall into itself behind them.
