While she's stopped to look, he takes the opportunity to do the same. No complaints about his position right now at all. He returns the kiss, and it's clear he's not trying to stay in control of himself like last time at all. He just wants her now, and after all those times they've teased each other, the effect is just compounded. Poor bed indeed.
