He does, especially since she's probably still feeling the effects of the wine.
Settling in on the couch and taking off his boots, he waits patiently for her to come back. He's looking forward to this, not because the movie interests him but because he wants to see her reactions, altered though they may be by alcohol.
"Now you'll have to show me what you like about these movies," he teases.
