Powers: Feed off of sexual energies of all species in order to live. He is able to induce feelings of lust in others in order to gain the energy he needs to feed. He is able to induce lust via the release of pheromones. He can feed from large groups at once, or from a single person, via touch (in various forms of contact, like kissing and oral...). However, he can feed to the point of death (with a human).

His markings are tribal and intricate. Starting with a tribal crow in the middle of his back, wings extending from shoulder blade to shoulder blade, and twining out from there (no bigger than his hand place there splayed). He has other tattoo's, but those have been added over recent years, and only the crow is his Incubus mark.

Weaknesses: The longer Vel goes between feedings, the weaker he will get. After a week, his body will begin to deteriorate until he is left in a mummified state. He can only reproduce about every hundred years.

Personality: Vel is a simple man in most regards. He can control his show of emotion, but he rarely does. This is because he holds a belief that at times, it can be more helpful than not. He does, however, showcases his arrocance and cocky attitude more than he should. Not to say he isn’t arrogant or cocky, he is just less so than he lets people think, as he likes being underestimated. But then, with it only being ‘shown’ at times, it is easy to eventually break him down until the truth can be found, if you’re willing to pay him that much attention.

Another thing about Vel, is he is a strongly magnetic man. Part of the Incubus charm, if you will. He’s dark and rich, and his emotions are just the same. Hedonistic is his way of life, and showcasing his body comes as second nature. He enjoys clubs and strip joints. Voyeuristic, and passionate. He also has a nasty temper, despite being patient. This can lend itself well to his vengeance, being patient up to the moment it is gained, at which point he tends to lose control of himself.

History: Like all other Succubi and Incubi born of an Incubus father and a human mother, Velasco Moreno never knew his mother. He knew she was Spanish, she was beautiful, and she was human. He knew, also, that his birth brought about her death, and she had practically been in thrall to his father, willingly giving up her life in her obsession with Calixto in order to give him a child. Silly, foolish woman, easily manipulated as she was. Vel would never hold a positive opinion of his mother.

Growing up, Vel stayed in Spain and surrounding European countries. Spending time in Portugal, France, Morocco, and at one time even Italy. As such, he is fluent in Spanish – his native tongue -, Portuguese, French, Italian, Moroccan Arabic and Amazigh – otherwise known as a Berber language. An ability learned out of necessity in order to play his parts well in his chosen new home. He spent his time wining and dining with the upper crusts of each human and supernatural society. Indulging his base desires, which also ensured his survival. And along the way, he took a fancy to certain human women. Seeing in them qualities he would not mind having within his children, and as such seduced and made them just as pathetically obsessed as his own mother had been before impregnating them; a woman in France who gave him a son, and a woman in Morocco who gave him a daughter.

But his times indulging were not without danger, or without loss. Not when the witch trials began in the 1480’s in Europe, and witches began taking it out upon the Incubi and Succubi. Ending in the loss of his father, and then, after having immigrated over to the Americas to start a new life for themselves, both of his sisters. As angry as he was, Valesco was not foolish, and revenge is always a dish best served patiently. Plus, at the time he had young to worry about. A brother, barely born before their father was captured along with his own children to raise. Keeping them close, even after maturity, for fear of what the witches could do to them.

It would be in the last hundred years that the time drew near for revenge to begin. As such, he prepared. He learned English with an obsessive drive, instilling the language among his brother and children as well, knowing it would be greatly needed. And then, he tracked down the family of witches who had imprisoned his father. He did not let a single descendant free of the wrongs of their elders, torturing them perhaps a bit too gleefully until the location of where his father was imprisoned was given up, and then killing them off before taking a handful of their human relatives, weak in anything resembling a gift, and breaking down the seal with a witch in thrall to him, then leaving his father to bring death to the humans he brought in order to come back to life.

And then he crossed the sea. Next was his sisters. That was far more difficult to accomplish, as the witches covered their tracks very well. But more than that, they learned he was coming and the fled, taking their imprisoned Succubi with them so he could not free them. It has lead him now to Amethyst City in search of the damned witches and his sisters, with his family ever following closely, making sure Velasco did not lose himself in his thirst for vengeance.
