Lucas had checked to make sure he couldn't mistake her. Her father had been so looking forward to this, but had to briefly be away. He'd been happy to volunteer to come along instead to make sure there was an ample party from Xavier's to welcome her home.
As the wheelchair is brought up, he steps forward to offer to help with the chair.
