It's been 10 days, since Jonas was injured.

10 bloody days, and I still don't know what to do with myself other than distract my thoughts with all the new work that's starting to pile up on my desk. Then again, when most of that work is relevant to what happened on the 3rd, my plan of action backfires.

I'll have to get over to Mungo's again, tonight. Check in, see how he's doing. Hell, maybe I'll serenade him and the bastard will finally sit up and tell me how off-key I am.

If your schedule is clear tomorrow night, I'll make reservations at a restaurant of your choosing. I just hope I don't disappoint you by being terrible company. If I seem distracted, please, don't take it personally...but I do hope that if that does happens, you'll be able to pull me back, so I'm not completely consumed by my own thoughts.

I'd like to hear about what you've been up to, since I've last seen you. I could offer you the same, but I highly doubt any stories I have to tell would be considered 'uplifting'.

Don't bother with it. I am always willing to hear what's on your mind, especially in the circumstance that it may take some of the stress off. ~~You act like Evan ever had uplifting stories to tell, I am far past requiring that out of a conversation~~ Whatever you may want to call this relationship our parents have arranged may be, you certainly don't need to tiptoe around me with worry of not seeming happy enough.

I am free tonight. How does the new Italian place down by Fortescue's sound? Although I hate to drag you too far away from London and St. Mungo's, so I am not going to be picky about a location.

I don't know if anyone's ever told you this before, but you're a remarkable woman, Cecilia Hooke.

I think I can afford to be away from the hospital for a night. If anything happens with Jonas, I'm sure I'll be notified immediately, so you don't need to worry about feeling obligated to stay within a certain proximity for my sake. I can always apparate over there if I'm needed, but unless that happen, you're the one who's going to have all of my attention.
