I'd also have to say that getting to stage 8C is pretty constructive, and I'm not just saying that because I couldn't get that far. D:
Spending free time improving your cognitive ability is a very good use of your spare time. Besides if you didn't do something besides work you'd be too run down to do your work properly.
...by the way... how did you get past level 7? >_>
