It wasn't that Suigetsu didn't really like Christmas... it's really that he didn't care for it one way or the other. It was just another big clusterfuck filled with endless propaganda about Hokage and love and giving. It was probably the one day of the year blondes pretended
not to be assholes and looked upon the less fortunate with pity instead of the usual disgust. If he were a dirt, Suigetsu would probably be
offended and go on about how he didn't need your stinkin' charity. All while trying to sneak a second helping.

But neutral holiday spirit aside, it was still something different. And festivals meant plenty of weird ass people walking around and being... weird. Which to Suigetsu, was amazing. While he spent a lot of time going from the first to second district for work, seeing this many
dirts in one place only happened on holidays. Especially a holiday that gave out free food. Hot food too, not just the usual cans. Though he was sure it wouldn't stay hot for long with that chill in the air.

Not wanting to miss out on anything juicy, Suigetsu left early for the festival and skimmed through the crowds. Being a blonde was always a way to get people to move the hell out of your way, so he didn't bother to wear a beanie despite his cold ears. He walked through the crowds with his head held high and his hands stuffed into the pockets of his hoodie. He didn't really care about the food (why should he? he can get any of this crap at home) but he was definitely feeling thirsty. Cocky
like every blonde, he walked over to the buffet line, prepared to ask them to give him something to drink before a familiar face distracted him.

"Hey you." He raised his hand in a little wave toward Sasuke before stuffing it right back into the warmth of his hoodie. "You guys look so orderly right now. It's weird." Honestly, he was surprised the buffets weren't always trampled every year. "Well, lines suck. How long you been waitin'?"
