James Horner’s Masterpiece

Oscar-winner James Horner died in the crash of a small private plane on Monday. Though the composer was most famous for his score for Titanic, perhaps his true masterpiece was his score for Sneakers, as Nicholas Britell wrote for Slate in 2012. That tribute is reprinted below.
