Hall-of-Fame football player and former NFL broadcaster Frank Gifford died on Sunday at the age of 84. Gifford’s life and career were inextricably linked to that of Chuck Bednarik, the player who is mistakenly credited with temporarily knocking him out of pro football with a brutal hit.
