Hope stood up, grinning as she offered him a hand up. "You bet," she said. "I'll make it nice and quick for you. No need to embarrass yourself now."
Rex is Hope's favorite sparring partner, after her mother. Granted, while she could really cut loose like she could with her mother, sparring with Rex tended to be more fun, and lighter than sparring sessions with her mother, as her and Rex bantered back and forth, while her and Mom were normally silent.
He's also one of the closest friends that she has, being good to talk to as well as spar with.
She reajusted her
outfit that she wore for training. "Ready when you are."
