07. BACKGROUND & PAST Born under the Malfoy name in December, Lucius was given a silver spoon. Never would he have to worry about food on the table, clothing or whatever his heart desired. Raised with the finer things in life he quickly showed his charm even as a young child. Friends came in abundance and stayed with him. Even then his parents wouldn’t let him associate with anything less than pure blooded wizards. So though he had friends he only had a select few. Lucius showed an aptitude for magic even at a young age. He excelled at hexes even at a young age. His first sign of magic being an awful hex towards a muggle child in the middle of London.

The older Lucius became the more he was spoiled. Though he never had any inclination to pick up a broom he felt the necessity to have as many clothes he could fit in his multitude of closets. He began building his dreams of Hogwarts when he was six years old. He had built it up from the ground in his mind and couldn’t wait to be sorted into Slytherin.

As he approached the proper Hogwarts age he began to prepare himself. He had begun to master his charm and needless to say he would need it. He was in fact sorted into Slytherin and began to raise in ranks of popularity. Lucius quickly made a name for himself and making a spot for himself in Horace Slughorn’s “Slug Club”. Though school was easy for him he had no real interest of holding a job.

He was well secure in the money he’d inherit when he was eighteen, twenty one and twenty five and when he was married he would inherit the Manor automatically. His parents would move to a small villa in Rome when he approached that time in his life. In his fifth year he noticed Narcissa Black along with Severus Snape. He quickly recognized Severus as being one of those he could manipulate and took the boy “under his wing”. Narcissa he saw as a suitable mate and began to court her.

Sixth and seventh year were uneventful for Lucius and he longed to be let out into the world so that he could begin his own life. After graduation Lucius inherited money and began to budget and donate and joined the ranks of the Death Eaters. With his specialty being the Imperius curse and the money that Lucius had, Lord Voldemort found use of Lucius and again he quickly rose ranks of the Death Eater’s. After a period of Narcissa ignoring him he proposed to her in January of 1977 and were wed in October of 1978. With Lucius now in control of the Manor and finding his place in the world he now thinks of children with Narcissa.

08. APPEARANCE Lucius can be best described as average, when he is really far from it -- tall, but not tall. He's lean, righteously so. His eyes are cold and grey, something that fits with his personality, with blond hair that could almost be described as white. When it comes to manner of dress, it's always the same -- dress robes and suits, nothing less than that; he won't even wear jeans since he considers them "too muggle" for his taste. With his pointed nose and cleft chin, it gives him that look of being haughty.


09. PERSONALITY It’s easy to see that Lucius is very arrogant. He thinks he’s God’s gift to the world and isn’t ashamed to admit it. He will only associate himself with the pure-blooded and the influential and even that has his limitations. The Weasley’s may be pure blooded but in Lucius’ book they’re scum. He lives and breathes the pure-blood mania. If you don’t fit into his book of perfection you don’t warrant the time of day. You’re lucky if you get a sneer.

Along with arrogance, he is known to be conniving and manipulative. Manipulation comes easy when the person isn't smart enough to realize that he‘s bending them with the charm that he possess. You can often see him whispering something to some influential wizard or witch with a secret smile on his face. To those in his world though, such as Narcissa, he’s very loving and attentive. He’ll shower Narcissa with gifts and luxuries.

Charm is something that Lucius has in abundance. Whether it’s getting a bill passed through the Ministry or charming his wife into bed, Lucius can handle either with an ease compared to few others. Lucius doesn’t understand the term hard to get. If he wants it, he gets it --- there’s no exceptions; nothing is unattainable.

Cruelty comes easily to Lucius. From a young boy. he was taught that being soft was weak. You can often see him abusing a house elf in his home and verbally lashing someone who’s crossed his path and managed to get on his bad side. Lying is something also essential to Lucius’ makeup. He can get out of any tight spot as long as he’s given the time to think things through and come up with a fabrication to put himself into the better light.
