Sarah/Hawthorne - Sunshine Yellow
“Oh, come on…I’m sure you’re just being dramatic.” Sarah smiled over at Hawthorne, who had just come back from losing his first trial. It was a rather big case; a double homicide and the man had been given a life sentence. In the back of the lawyers mind, he had a feeling that the man really did deserve to be behind bars for the rest of his miserable life, but this made him look bad, which was what was eating at him. “Sarah…I had a total of zero witnesses. It was a slaughter house.” He sighed, bringing his whiskey to his lips, tilting back the glass so that the warm liquid could slide down his throat. When he had finished, Sarah leaned forward over the bar and grabbed an annoyingly bright, yellow drink umbrella and placed it in his glass. “Cheer up, sunshine…” Her nail flicked at the little paper umbrella, probably giving him that particular color to go along with the nickname she had bestowed upon him; sunshine yellow.
