It's not like he'd actually been gone, really. Franklin had just been very busy with college life. Despite living with a few super geniuses, he opted not to get their help with his homework (instead he chose to go to the library and do the work himself). Today was one of the days he wasn't busy and could rest at home. At the moment, he was eating cookie dough in the kitchen. It was chocolate chip, his favorite.
