OH MY GOD YES sorry i am very excited at the prospect of another student being here with gay parents! i think that would've given them a lot to bond over. walt has always been super proud to have two dads, but i think there were moments of feeling alienated when he first came to school and people used it as a way to make fun of him. their parents could even know each other from their days at hogwarts, maybe they've been friends for a while? i don't know, it all depends on what kind of background you had in mind for her!
