the worst is gif/picture time when you go through and comment everyone and see that people get like 5-7 comments and you go look at your character's and there's like 2

i don't mind trivial negative comments about my pb or updates but if i see one more comment saying about my character or anyone's that they should've done something differently or more dramatic i am going to scream

i don't really think that there's anything inherently wrong with someone saying "i wish _____ had reacted differently to..." it's not like they're saying they think someone did something wrong it's just that they'd hoped for things to go a different way. i can see how it might be a little frustrating though

when i go to look at my pbs comments and i see like 4 of them i'm all :D but then they're all things like "they're nice" "so pretty!" "so great" and then i see people that are like THEY ARE SO AMAZING AND FLAWLESS I LOVE THIS DYNAMIC AND HOW THEY DO THIS OMG NEVER LEAVE ME then i go from :D to D:

i just feel constantly overlooked no matter what i do/post/say/participate in especially when some people can just CASUALLY MENTION writing a narrative in here (and somehow be outed by this idek how it happened that someone just happened to know exactly who was writing it even though there was nothing to out them in their comment) and half the comm seems to be waiting on pins and needles for it where as i'm pretty sure i could kill my character and bring them back to life in unicorn form in a narrative and no one would mention anything

i don't think you have to be extreme and dramatic to be appreciated here, though, i feel like at this point i'm so comfortable with every member (whether we interact or not) that it wouldn't be the same if you left even if you've never made a spectacle of your character on the fp...but on that same note if you write a sort of self reflecting narrative and someone else writes one where they verbally bitch slap another or literally attempt to hurt another character, the more dramatic one is going to be speculated in here to hell and back BUT that doesn't mean no one read yours :(

i just miss when people commented my screened post asking for customs or threads but no one even talks to my character anymore and i know i should reach out and comment myself and i have before so i'm not lazy but i just lack so much motivation

i worked really hard on my narrative and received an anon comment in my screened post about how much someone enjoyed it and it just made me smile so much that it's now my goal to pay it forward and do that for every one that i enjoy and all of you anons should too. maybe together we can make sure that everyone knows how talented and wonderful and brilliant they are

i wish we could make commenting someones screened post when we want to praise them the norm instead of saying it in here, tbh. then they get the boost and feel good moment without the risk of cunts deciding they have to disagree with everything and turn one nice comment into 3 pages of bashing the person :(

i'm just going to be really blunt and honest for a second so if i come off as rude or whatever then i'm sorry but when i first joined i only knew one person ooc, i hardly got any comments on my backstoried post, no one commented my updates for awhile except the person i know ooc and this continued until i literally forced my character into everything imaginable and asked people in screened posts if we could do backdated scenes/random things for drama/so on and so forth and now i have tons of things to do here BUT i put effort into it, and i know it's different for everyone and i'm not saying those of you that feel underrated aren't trying but maybe you're trying with the wrong people? if you want to do something dramatic that would require another student, go to one of the people that you already know are dramatic and see if you can work something out with them because tbh if they're talked about in here and then you're linked with them for whatever reason, you'll be talked about as well but i'm warning you it's not fun to get brought up in here though i won't lie, the attention at first is nice because you get all PEOPLE ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO ME!! but anons turn on you quickly and the praising and constructive criticism turn into relentlessly picking everything you do apart so just... be careful with it i guess

i enjoyed the attention at first too because i thought people legitimately liked my character and i think they're still well liked but not as much as before and i think it has to do with anons, i seriously cannot be in here anymore when my character is brought up because i don't have a thick skin
