as a vet, i know that a lot of people had their abilities written in before there ever was a cap (animagi, veela, meta) and i don't know, maybe the mods didn't think there had to be a cap but the only thing that made them implement it was that there were 12 veela? or something insane like that. at least some of them dropped from clubs or other capped positions but i don't know. i'm not mad that there aren't any open abilities or anything because it's on a first come first serve basis but at the same time, i don't think everyone should be like james potter. if anyone is then that's fine but at least it isn't the entire comm right?
