We confiscated an automover today. A real automover, Molly! And...well, it bites if you get too close to it, but that's so easy to take care of honestly. Just a bit of handy work with charms and viola!

It's a lovely turquoise color, too. And from what I've read it's not that hard to navigate. And our garage is so terribly empty...I may have told McCormick that I would store it for the department since there isn't proper storage for our office as it is and we can't very well keep an automover in there!

But Molllllllyyyyyyyyyy. You would look so beautiful in the passenger seat with your hair all whisked in the wind and such.

Plus, we could go for a drive in the country! That...that would be fun, wouldn't it?

It bites! And it moves, how do you make it move? You'd have to go on all those roads with those other cars!

The biting will be easy to take care of. In the words of Bill, Easy Peasy Mac and Cheesy.

It's eckeltricity, Molly! There's a battery--a HUGE battery and you turn this--piece of metal thing, and it turns on! And it has a wheel mover that you turn and it makes the car go left and right and there are petals! Petals that you push down with your feet to make it go faster and slow down.

Yes, but we'd be on country roads. Country roads don't have a lot of other cars. They're peaceful and quiet and that way we won't run into other cars or into a ditch have any problems because of other cars! Oh please please please Mollywobbles?

I don't know...I mean, you'd make sure it was working perfectly, right? Before you dare take it out for a 'drive'?

Yes yes, of course I would. I've already got books on how it works

And, if it will put you at ease, I'll make sure that the garage is locked off from the boys. At least until all the biting is gone.

Why would you want an auto?

Because...it's an auto!
Oooh, I like calling it an auto.

But what does it do? Where are you going to drive it?

I'm not driving it anywhere yet. Need to give it a look over and such first.

What sort of charms can you put on an auto I wonder. Would they stick because it's muggle?

Well, the person we confiscated it from had a biting charm on it and it's stuck pretty well from what I can tell...Hmmmmm.

Good point. I always have the stupidest questions So any ideas how to get it off then? Or is it more of a question of taming the beast, so to speak.

It's going to be my pet project for the next few weeks, I'm sure. We'll have to see if it's something quick to remove or if it's given the thing a will of its own.

What in Merlin's name is an automover?

It's a mover that muggles use to go to and fro.

Ahhh.

Wait, it's a mode of transportation and it bites?

Bloody hell, who would do that?!

Oh, you know how people are, Fabian. Playing jokes on unsuspecting muggles and the like. We were just lucky to catch it before any serious damage was done.

It's like having a very large metal dog that runs on petrol! I hope it doesn't start jumping or anything...

Yes, they are.

Oh, well...the car is going to be on lock down until I can get the biting figured out. But she okayed it!
