I felt the very same way you do, all my friends had boyfriends, or were in serious relationships, and even some were already married. I always felt like the odd man out because I didn't date alot and I was still a virgin(oh my god can you believe?)Now I look back, and I'm so glad I waited for the right guy to come along! Mind you, I had other offers but I just knew they were not the ones for me. When I stopped looking, there he was!!!! Not that I'm gloating or anything, (ok well maybe alittle!) but those same friends of mine are now either divorced, in a bad relationship, or just not happy at all.
I have been happily married now for 17 wonderful years to the sweetest man in the world!!!! And yes he's the one who I also lost my virginity to(in my 20's no less!)so what I'm saying is this, never give up or feel defeated because he's out there and feeling the same way you do. You will find each other and your paths will cross whens it's meant to be! |
