Why was Itachi assaulted by a man in a costume? You said he was safe, yet two people have told me it's common for employees to be abused at all of these events. And that Madara is psychotic.

Don't listen to them. Madara is a bit eccentric but he wouldn't put Itachi in danger on purpose. I didn't know he went.

Did you miss what I said? He was assaulted multiple times and was in obvious pain. It doesn't matter if his life was in danger or not, he was hurt.
